Hi, thanks for visiting Clever Fox.  I'm Ruth McGee and I have the great joy of living in beautiful Northumberland. For over twenty years I worked in education as a teacher and well-being practitioner. During that time I supported young people and other professionals who found education challenging and often exhausting. The constant challenges faced day to day have a significant impact on mental health and post covid this has only got worse. However, I have a total belief in the human ability to find good mental health and take control of their future given the right support. I am passionate about supporting people to overcome life's obstacles, realise their strengths and find their way forward to good mental health and wellbeing - for long lasting change. 

After leaving  education I focused fully on developing my work in mental health and well-being. I am a trained hypnotherapist and health & wellbeing coach (accredited by the NHS Personalised Care Institute) and use cognitive coaching and hypnotherapy alongside counselling methods to support your journey. I offer a supportive non-judgmental space for you to identify your needs, where you want to be and what's stopping you achieving your goals. Together we can explore your feelings and barriers to getting to where you want to be and develop long term strategies for positive change.
